Very friendly staff. The Miso was great as was the meat and fish BBQ.One of the best meals I have had recently. Not cheap but a great experience that I will definitely repeat.

Really friendly staff. Was very organised and attentive . First time for me having Japanese food, great experience, everything was very fresh and big portions. Fun to do the cooking ourselves. Tasted very delicious. Friends I was with had been to previous Japanese restaurants and were very happy with the quality and service. Thankyou. I've already rebooked to come back!

Get the wagyu menu, the wagyu a4 is amazing

A lot of fun. Went with the family for lunch on the weekend. Friendly staff, modern fit out and a grill in the middle of each table. A great local restaurant.

Lovely restaurant staff were very friendly, food was delicious, loved the idea of cooking your own food very fun. Highly recommended will definitely be returning.

Staff were very disorganised, all meals ordered came out sporadically, we had to send dishes back because they arrived at the table cold. I ordered the largest beef platter for bbq, when I placed the order I found it peculiar that the menu wouldnt list the actual grams of the cuts included, which is fairly common for places like this. The staff were also very unhelpful, communication was difficult and they would not explain what the portion sizes were like.The plate arrived at the table and weighed no more thab 150 grams in total made up of 4 different cuts, none of which were wagyu. It was mind boggling that they would charge over 10 times market price for standard cuts of meat.The staff also kept hovering around our table and repeatedly asking if we had finished using the bbq which was quite annoying.Definitely would avoid unless they make some major changes.

We came from Germany, visited the UK and London. Staying at Hampton Court we were looking for a Japanese restaurant. And - lucky us - we found the Sakura Yakiniku restaurant and we were more than happy with the food, the service and the prices. Only there we learnt from this special Wagyu beef which is not that cheap but certainly tastes amazingly good. And we learnt that the Sakura Yakiniku restaurant in Hampton Court/East Moseley is the first and only Japanese restaurant in whole of Britain that serves this Wagyu beef with the special grilling and smokeless method at the customers table. Great!From now on we know: if you are in London and you want to experience best Japanese grill food the place to go is the SAKURA YAKINIKU in Hampton Court.
